I really never thought I would see this, and kinda never wanted to:
This is actually my Grandfather on my dads side. I was born in 67 so I never knew him. Thank the good Lord I got his fist name!!!!!!! Everyone called him Doguid (pronounced: "do get"), "Claude" is bad enough!
His wife and him passed away in a car wreck, so I'm told.
Still wierd to see your name on a tomb stone.

Tell me about it! We went to where Fred's dad is buried. Fred is named after him. I REALLY didn't like looking at the grave marker. Made him leave quick...
I went with Dean to visit his parents and we went to the family cemetary and there was a tombstone for Mary Kathryn LaFollette. We had just gotten married. And his mom didn't like me.
Kinda freaked me out. Since she wasn't talking to me. Now 25 years later (this June) I don't mind cuz' I know where I'm spending eternity. YEAH GOD!!
